WishGee is a product recommendation service. We help you decide what to buy. We do not sell anything, hold stock, process payments, or handle returns.

Using the service

Recommendations are our honest opinion based on the requirements you give us and the information available to us at the time. They are advice, not a guarantee. Please check the specification, warranty and return policy on the retailer's own page before you buy.

• Prices and availability change constantly. What we show is the most recent figure we have, and it may be out of date by the time you click through.
• Any purchase you make is a contract between you and the retailer, not with WishGee.
• We are not liable for a retailer's pricing errors, stock issues, delivery, or after-sales service.
• Don't use the service to scrape, resell or systematically extract our recommendations.

Privacy

WishGee 2.0 does not require an account. You can make a wish without giving us a name, an email address or a phone number.

• Your wish — the category, budget and preferences you pick — is used to produce your recommendation.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not hand it to advertisers.
• We keep basic, aggregated analytics to understand which categories people ask about, so we know what to cover next.
• If you contact us by email, we keep that correspondence so we can reply to it.

Affiliate disclosure

Some of the links on WishGee are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer pays us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it is what keeps the service free.

The part that matters: commission never decides a recommendation. We compare prices across retailers and point you at the cheapest one on the day — which is frequently the one that pays us the least, and sometimes one that pays us nothing at all. If we ever can't be neutral about a category, we won't cover it.

Advertising

There is no display advertising on WishGee, and no sponsored placements. No brand can pay to appear in your answer, to rank higher in it, or to keep a competitor out of it. That was true in WishGee 1.0 and it is true now.
